A Sanctuary to Seek Peace & Growth

A Place to Wrestle with God

We believe God has invited us into relationship with Him. Relationships require safety to be vulnerable, to ask questions, to express doubts and concerns. There have been too many times when the church has been the last place to talk about our fears and express our frustration. We welcome you to come and wrestle with us as we continue to understand better what relationship with the King of the Universe means.

About Us

We are a small group of friends who had the idea for this church in the fall of 2023.

We are proud of our Christian heritage, and owe a deep debt of gratitude to all the believers who have carried the faith forward to us. But we also feel that the church often fails to communicate the message of the good news of God’s love effectively and it must be carried in fresh and new ways to each generation.

It has too often been the case that if you had doubts about your spirituality or faith the church was the very last place you could go for answers or discussion. We want to change that and make the church a place of respectful conversation, whether or not we end in agreement, we believe we will all grow from the opportunity to explore our beliefs.

Our first service was on December 1, 2023 and we are thrilled to see how this new thing has made a large impact on a even a small group.

We are a New American Orthodox church.

Read more about what we believe and how we practice it on our Tenets page.

SERVICE TIMES

FRIDAY
5:30pm - Dinner, come as you are, join us as we open the Sabbath. You do not need to bring anything, we normally share the supply from week to week. We follow this dinner with a short communion (all welcome) and dessert.

6:30-8pm - Conversational Bible Study, we read a chapter or two and discuss. You can read ahead or just join and read with. This is a no homework required event!

SATURDAY

We take the day off, what does this mean to you? We believe rest, re-connection is crucial to life and good relationships.

5-5:30pm - We close the Sabbath with a half hour vespers. In this quiet contemplative service we seek to think about one topic, tenet or practice of our faith.

SUNDAY

8-9am - Our regular Sunday service. We follow the Revised Common Lectionary, and participate in the Communion meal. We invite you to stay for coffee afterwards.

All of our services are come as you are. Like to come a little dressier to church? Sometimes we do too. Like to just rush out in what you’re wearing? Us as well! Some days are busier than others, and it’s always more important to be here than worry about whether you’re wearing the right things.

Please call or email us if you have any questions or need more information.
